We are Very Proud

Guider Alicia, Guider Linda, and Guider Cheryl were very happy to visit the legislature. Manitoba Guiding members were received by the Honourable Christine Melnick, Minister of Water Stewardship in her office, where we had a chance to meet with her and to share cake and punch. We then had a tour of the building and we listened to Question Period.

Were were very proud and honored to have a member's statement read celebrating the 100th anniversary of Girl Guides on Canada. We even received a standing ovation by the members of the legislature.

Girl Guides of Manitoba are invited to attend a reception at the office of Christine Melnick, Minister of Water Stewardship, at the Manitoba Legislature for cake and refreshments. We are then invited to go to the Gallery to watch Question Period, after which a member’s statement will be read by a member of the Manitoba Government in celebration of 100 years of Guiding in Canada.

We need to confirm the number attending ahead of time, so please let Guider Alicia know if you will be attending.

What a cool opportunity!
